BOX
Box is a cloud hosting file storage service available to all students, faculty and staff. Box allows for secure file backup, file collaboration, and simple file sharing across the entire Touro University system. At this time, Box is NOT acceptable to store documents with PII (Personal Identification Information) data.

Requirements For Service:
A Touro e-mail address and Box account are required in order to log in and use Box.
How to Get This Service:
Box accounts are currently created on an individual basis. Please email help.touroone@touro.edu to request an account.

OFFICE 365
Office 365 is a cloud hosted Office suite solution from Microsoft. Through Office 365 users can compose and share documents through OneDrive, and download a free copy of Microsoft Office 2016 onto their local computers.

A Touro e-mail address is required to self-enroll into Office 365
How to Get This Service:
Staff and faculty already have Office 365 accounts and can log in using the main sign in portal:

QUALTRICS
Qualtrics is a cloud hosted easy-to-use survey platform. Qualtrics is very beginner friendly and can be used to create and distribute surveys, aggregate and analyze responses, and extrapolate and export data into SPSS and Microsoft Excel.

Requirements For Service:
A staff, faculty and Student email address is required to create a Qualtrics account.
How to Get This Service:

ZOOM
Zoom is a web conference service that includes both meeting and webinar services. Zoom is primarily used for video conferencing and is available for both computers and mobile devices. Users can either have a Standard Zoom account, or a Zoom Pro account. A standard Zoom account has a time limit of 40 minutes per meeting and 100 participants.A Zoom Pro account has an unlimited meeting duration and various other functions.

Standard Zoom accounts can be procured by signing up for Zoom yourself using the main Zoom registration page and entering your Touro email.

Zoom Pro accounts are granted only by requests. Please send your Zoom Pro account request to help.touroone@touro.edu

Microsoft SharePoint is a component of Office 365 and a cloud based collaborative workspace for staff, faculty, and students. SharePoint is a robust suite and toolset designed to provide collaborators a space to store.

WI-FI
Touro Wi-Fi is a service provided by IITS. Wi-Fi is available at Touro location and campus, and is available to all students, staff, faculty, and guests. The following 3 networks are available to all users.

Touro Guest: Users who are not part of Touro and who are visiting can log on using their first and last name, and personal email address.

Touro: Students can log onto this network using their TouroOne Portal accounts. Staff and Faculty need to prefix their portal account username with the "Admin\TourOne portal account".

Touro Secure: This network allows for encrypted wireless connection and can be used by students, staff and faculty.

*Any onboarding device that connects to Touro Secure will need to go through a one-time registration process with Bradford NAC system.
*All devices are required to comply with Touro's secure Wi-Fi policies

Requirements For Service:
A TouroOne portal username is required to access Touro Wi-Fi.

*Guest users do not need to have a TouroOne portal username

LYNDA
Lynda Professional accounts grant users access to Lynda.com, which hosts thousands of instructional and educational courses. Courses cover subjects such as education, marketing, photography, 3D design, IT, and business management.

IPAD
Students and faculty of select programs are entitled to receive iPads as part of their course curriculum. IPad are distributed at the beginning of the school year to all students participating in the iPad program. iPads also come with program specific apps. Touro IT manages the iPads for as long as the student is part of Touro. Touro no longer manages the iPad device once the student graduates. All apps that were assigned to the iPad can continue to be used after the student leaves Touro.

Requirements For Service:
In order to receive an iPad a student must be enrolled in a program that is part of the iPad distribution. Students will need to have a valid TouroOne username and Touro email address in order to fully utilize the iPad. Faculty will also need to have a TouroOne username and Touro email address.
How to Get This Service:
The iPad distribution program is limited to certain schools and classes.

VPN ACCESS
Touro's VPN service allows Touro users to connect to Touro's network remotely from any available network connection from virtually anywhere in the world: including from home, hotels, and even from within some company networks.
Available To:
Staff, Faculty, Vendors, and Consultants.
Requirements For Service:
The following items are required in order to access and use Touro's VPN services:
  1. Cisco AnyConnect Client installed on the machine the users is requesting VPN access for
  2. Active Antivirus subscription on said machine
  3. A TouroOne username
  4. A smartphone or tablet is required for 2-factor authentication in order to log into the VPN
How to Get This Service:
In order for a user to gain access to VPN services, users must email the Touro Helpdesk and include a filled out copy of the Touro VPN Request form. Users can find the VPN Request form by logging into TouroOne, navigating to the "Campus Resources" tab, And selecting "VPN/Remote Access Request Form" under the Forms section. *If a user is a consultant or vendors who doesn't have TouroOne access. The user should email the Touro Helpdesk requesting VPN access, and the Helpdesk will provide the user with the necessary VPN request forms.

TOURO EMAIL
All Touro staff, faculty, and students gain access to a Touro email address and mailbox. Staff and faculty have access to their emails through Office 365. Touro Students currently have their mailboxes hosted by Google.
Available To:

Requirements For Service:
In order to access your mailbox, users must log into TouroOne using their TouroOne username and password.
How to Get This Service:
Once logged into TouroOne users can follow the below steps to log into their Touro mailbox.

Staff and Faculty Email Access:

  1. After logging into TouroOne, click the Home tab
  2. The user will see a link to Office 365 in the "Office 365 Email" section under the Announcements tab
  3. Click on the Office 365 email link to go to the email login page>
  4. Type in your full email address e.g, john.smith5@touro.edu
  5. Type in your portal password
  6. Click on the Sign In button

For all Touro New York Students

  1. After logging into TouroOne, click the Home tab
  2. Click the "Student Email" link in the student email section
  3. The user will be taken to their Google hosted Touro email
